Hello!  Welcome to our blog.  Here is our introduction about our lives:

Tisha- myself!  I enjoy several things such as, the outdoors, raising chickens, growing plants in our new greenhouse, unschooling our children, scouts, camping, fishing, hiking, and more.  Dreams: to own land in the woods with a creek and live off the grid. My projects are learning about herbs, gardening, raising chickens, and Pinterest.  I am a stay at home mom.

Charles- my wonderful husband.  He enjoys the outdoors, beekeeping, inventing, living off the grid ideas, and working outdoors.  He has several projects, one he just completed recently is a greenhouse he built made out of recycled windows and other materials.

Our children: Logan, Nathan, Kristen & Amanda and our grandson, Kenneth, age 2.  Our son's enjoy being active in scouts, they enjoy nature, learning about geology, doing many things with a homeschool support group we belong to, taking field trips, and of course, video games and Legos.

Both of my daughters have a medical condition called FAP, or Gardner's Syndrome.
You can read more about their condition at http://www.clevelandclinic.org/registries/inherited/fap.htm .  Kristen has went through 3 colon surgeries so far, and hopefully she will not have to go through anymore.  Amanda is due to see a surgeon for the first time very soon in Cincinnati.  We are hoping that her surgery will be in Cincinnati instead of Cleveland, because it's much closer.

Our grandson, Kenneth, age 2 is discovering everything!  He is a very curious, sweet, and fun toddler.  He is a quick learner and he said his first sentence "I see you" at around 9-10 mos. old!  Here is the video:

Our pets:  Cody-one of our dogs.  He is part husky, lab and German Shepherd.  He was rescued from a shelter that needed to find homes for a person who had over 40 dogs.  He's been the best dog I've ever had.  He is my shadow.  Gracie- she is a small black dog mix.  She was saved by Amanda who saw her spending her days alone outside.  We have about 12 Red Comet chickens, four beehives and one cat.
